Virtual Physiotherapy Appointments in British Columbia
At ETHOS Collective Physiotherapy, we offer virtual physiotherapy appointments for all residents of British Columbia. These sessions are ideal for consultations, exercise guidance, injury management, and ongoing care when you cannot attend in person.
What is a virtual physiotherapy appointment?
A virtual appointment is a secure video session with a physiotherapist. While similar to Zoom or FaceTime, we use encrypted, privacy-compliant software to ensure your session is safe and confidential.
Virtual appointments are also referred to as telerehabilitation, online physiotherapy, virtual physio, or video consultations. All of which provide the same professional physiotherapy guidance.
Note: Virtual sessions do not include hands-on treatment or modalities
How Virtual Physiotherapy Can Help You
Virtual sessions can address a variety of concerns, including:
- Posture guidance and correction
- Ergonomic workspace guidance
- Exercise progression or prescription
- Advice for aches, pains, or musculoskeletal injuries
- Injury assessment and management
- Personalized strategies for ongoing wellness and movement
Virtual physiotherapy is flexible, effective, and designed to support your health from the comfort of home.
Extended Health Care & Payment
Most extended health benefit plans cover virtual physiotherapy appointments, but we recommend contacting your provider to confirm your coverage.
- Payment is made via credit card through a secure, encrypted system at the time of the appointment.
- After payment, a receipt will be emailed for submission to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
