Registered Physiotherapist | Founder of Ethos Collective Physiotherapy, Squamish, BC
Looking for a physiotherapist in Squamish who addresses TMJD, chronic pain, and overall wellbeing?
I’m Christine Ziade, a registered physiotherapist who helps people reclaim balance, comfort, and movement by looking at the body as an interconnected system. Whether you’re dealing with TMJD, persistent tension, chronic pain, or simply want to optimize your wellbeing, I combine advanced manual therapy, functional movement, and breath-based strategies to address the root cause, not just the symptoms.
I graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2007 with an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology and a Minor in French, then completed my Master’s in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa in 2010. For over 15 years, I’ve worked exclusively in private practice, helping clients achieve lasting results through a holistic, evidence-based approach to movement, healing, and wellbeing.
Between 2013 and 2018, I worked at a TMJ-focused physiotherapy clinic under Daniel Gagné, PT, one of Canada’s most experienced clinicians in the area of jaw and craniofacial rehabilitation. Those five years gave me extensive experience treating TMJD, while also deepening my understanding of how jaw dysfunction often connects to posture, breathing, and whole-body movement patterns. That insight continues to guide how I assess and treat every client.
My post-graduate training includes multiple courses in visceral and neural manipulation through the Barral Institute, manual therapy (Level 2), functional movement analysis (SFMA), and acupuncture (AFCI Level 1). These advanced techniques allow me to look at the body as a complete, integrated system, connecting the nervous system, fascia, organs, and musculoskeletal structures to uncover and address the true root cause of dysfunction.
In each session, I combine precise manual therapy, individualized functional exercise, and breath-based strategies to help clients restore natural alignment, improve movement efficiency, and reduce tension. Whether you’re struggling with TMJD, chronic pain, or simply want to optimize your body and wellbeing, my goal is to help you move better, feel better, and reconnect with your body.
Outside of work, I love travel, good food, and spending time near the ocean, all of which remind me of the importance of living fully connected and grounded.
If you’re ready to go beyond symptom management and take a whole-body approach to healing and optimization, I’d love to support you on your journey.
